Canopy Hallway
Rizhao // China
An additional renovation to the existing hotel sought to capture the feeling of walking below a forest canopy, hoping to alleviate the stress of daily travel and the monotony of traversing the same hallway each day. Alongside material choices a system of panels were created to hang from the ceiling within a structural grid. The panels are designed in a way to allow for hundreds of variants, making sure it never looks uniform or repetitive.
